Khatte Mithe Pohe



Poha, commonly known as Aval in Kannada, Flattened rice in English, is rice which is flattened into flat, light, dry flakes originating from the Indian subcontinent. Rice is parboiled before flattening so that poha can be made with very less cooking. Poha is a popular Indian breakfast dish that you can make at home easily. Poha contains 194g nutrition. It contains very less fat. So, very good option for breakfast. Poha contains vitamin B1 which balance our blood sugar.

Stuffed Tinda Masala



Tinda is also known as Indian round gourd, apple gourd or Indian Baby Pumpkin . Tinda is also called "tindsi" in Rajasthan. In Marathi, it is called "dhemase". In Sindhi language, it is called "meha".

It contains antioxidants like carotenoids and many anti-inflammatory agents, which are effective in controlling blood pressure, heart diseases and strokes. It can also prevent cancer.Tinda is available mostly in the spring. A water-rich vegetable, it keeps your body cool and healthy, increases urinary flow which helps excrete toxins from the kidney. It also contains a lot of fiber, which helps in digestion, relieves stomach acidity and prevents constipation. Some research indicates it is also very good for healthy skin and hair.

Veggy Cheese Balls

Veggy Cheese Balls




Ingredients :-

Potatoes - 3-4
Onion - 2
Capsicum - 1
Green Chilli - 1
Carrot - 1
Cheese
Salt - to taste
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Black Chilli Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Tomato Sauce - 2 spoon
Bread Crumbs
Maida - 3 tbsp
Oil -  for fry


Procedure :-

  • Boil potatoes pressure cooker or an electric cooker. boil the potatoes till they are completely cooked.
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add onion, green chillies, capsicum, Carrot and saute till golden brown.
  • Mix together potatoes, bread crumbs, Red Chilli Powder , black pepper powder, Maida  salt, onion-green chilli mixture in a bowl.
  • Divide into small portions and make balls. Stuff each ball with cheese and roll again.
  • Heat oil in a pan/kadai. Deep fry the balls till golden brown and crisp.
  • Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot Tomato Sauce and Green Chutney.

Gravy Aloo Do Pyaza



In Aloo Do Pyaza "Do Pyaza" means lots of onions in it and in two ways we have used onion in it. Aloo Do Pyaza is very tasty and tempting Rajasthani dish made with lots of onions, potatoes and spices.  We can serve it with roti, naan or Paratha.

Ingradients:-

Onion - 4-5
Potato - 2-3
Tomato - 2
Green Chilli - 1
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1-2 tbsp
Hing - 1tbsp
Zeera (Cumin seeds) - 1tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1tbsp
Garam Masala - 1/2tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2tbsp
Salt - To taste
Oil

Procedure:-


  • Take Potatoes and Wash and cut the them in cubes similarly peel the half onions and cut them into large blocks and make paste of remaining onions and make puree of tomatoes.
  • Heat oil in pan and deep fry the potatoes until golden brown. Drain and put aside.
  • Heat 3 tablespoon oil in a pan add cumin seeds, hing, turmeric powder, saute till the spices cooked.
  • Add onion paste and ginger garlic paste and cook until the masala leave oil.
  • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder along with tomato puree saute for few more minutes to cook the tomatoes completely.
  • Add onions chunks, cook on medium flame until the onions become soft and mixed with spices.
  • Add fried potatoes and mix it very well.
  • Add one cup of water cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes until all the ingredients mix well and cooked completely and Now add garam masala and mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander, serve hot with roti, naan or paratha.
