Veg Cheese Samosa


Ingredients -

For Covering -

Plain Flour (Maida) - 2 cup
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Water


For Filling -

Corn - 1/2 cup
Carrot - 1
Capsicum - 1
Cheese - 1 cup
Black Pepper - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Procedure - 

For Covering -
  • Take bowl. Add maida, oil, salt and mix them and knead into a stiff dough using enough water. 
  • Over the dough with a dish or a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 1 hour.

For Filling -
  • Grate carrot and cut capisum in julians.
  • Boil corn and put aside.
  • Take a pan and heat oil and add carrot and capsicum.
  • After 2-3 min add corn, salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder.
  • Mix them and bake for 2-3 mins on slow flame.
  • Put them for cool.And add cheese into it.
For Samosa -
  • Make balls from dough.
  • Roll out a ball of the dough.
  • Take a portion and join the edges to make a cone.
  • Stuff the cone with a portion of the filling and apply little water on the edges to seal it.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and deep-fry the samosas on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
